Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Education Librarian to join our team at Principal Education in North London.

This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students, supporting their academic growth and development through effective library services.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain a comprehensive library collection that caters to diverse student needs and interests.
  • Develop and implement engaging IT programs to enhance student learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with teachers to promote literacy skills and foster a love for reading among students.
  • Efficiently manage library budgets and resources to ensure optimal utilization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
  • Proven experience in managing library collections and staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include a generous holiday allowance, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development.
