Administrative Support Professional

Our client is a prestigious motorcycle manufacturer seeking an experienced HR Assistant to join their team on a 3-month contract basis. This role is based in Solihull, with a hybrid working arrangement requiring four days onsite and one day remote.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will support various aspects of human resources, including recruitment activities, leaver processes, formal investigations, and employee wellbeing initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting recruitment activities, including posting job adverts, shortlisting candidates, conducting telephone interviews, and scheduling face-to-face interviews.
- Processing leavers by acknowledging terminations, updating employee details, and revising organisational charts.
- Supporting formal investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances as a note-taker.
- Providing guidance to staff on accessing wellbeing platforms and services.
- Maintaining the HR Team Inbox to ensure timely email responses.
To be successful in this role, applicants must possess:
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in HR Administration.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent administrative and organisational abilities.
- The capacity to build effective relationships with employees across various backgrounds and levels of seniority.
- The ability to demonstrate sound judgement and common sense.
- Effective written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- The capacity to work independently, use initiative, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Good problem-solving skills.
