About the Role

This position involves managing a team of facilities professionals, coordinating with contractors, engineers, and suppliers, while maintaining health and safety standards. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for all facilities-related matters, ensuring clear communication channels are maintained.

The company provides hybrid working, with 3 days in office and 2 days remote. The estimated salary for this position is £47,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of facilities professionals, focusing on their growth and performance.
  • Manage the facilities ticketing system, ensuring prompt resolution of issues within SLA parameters.
  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and suppliers while maintaining health and safety standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all facilities-related matters, maintaining clear communication channels.
  • Support environmental initiatives and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee access control systems and emergency response procedures.
  • Maintain health and safety standards, including first aid responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Proven facilities management experience in a professional environment.
  • Strong track record in team leadership and management.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional manner.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly intermediate Excel skills.
  • Experience with facilities management systems and processes.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
