Leadership and Development Role for Mental Health ANP Team

This is a challenging and rewarding leadership opportunity for a registered nurse or AHP to join our Mental Health ANP team as a Senior Clinical Leadership and Service Development Manager. The role will be based in NHS Lanarkshire Area Wide and will involve working 37 hours per week.



The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical leadership and service development, with experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and developing innovative solutions to complex problems. They will be responsible for leading the Mental Health ANP team and developing the service to ensure that it meets the needs of patients and staff.



The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate diploma in advanced practice, experience of working in mental health, and a valid NMC or HCPC registration. They will also have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including patients, staff, and external partners.



About the Role

This is a senior leadership role that requires a high level of expertise and experience in clinical leadership and service development. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Mental Health ANP team and developing the service to ensure that it meets the needs of patients and staff.



The role will involve:




  • Leading the Mental Health ANP team and developing the service to ensure that it meets the needs of patients and staff.
  • Developing and implementing service development plans to improve patient outcomes and staff experience.
  • Working with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement new ways of working that improve patient care and staff experience.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to junior staff members to support their professional development.
  • Collaborating with external partners, including other NHS organisations and social care providers, to develop and implement joint service development plans.
  • Developing and managing budgets to support the delivery of service development plans.
  • Ensuring that all aspects of service delivery are safe, effective, and of high quality.

Estimated salary: £56,587 - £65,334 per annum, depending on experience.
