Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Support Worker to join our team. As a Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults aged 18 and above with varying levels of mobility and care needs. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality care and support to our service users, ensuring their safety, dignity, and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to service users, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and continence needs.
  • Support service users to access the community, participate in activities, and maintain social connections.
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks, taking into account individual dietary requirements.
  • Engage in activities that promote the physical and emotional well-being of service users, such as outdoor activities, shopping, and social events.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each service user.
  • Contribute to a safe and respectful environment, promoting the dignity and autonomy of service users at all times.
Requirements
  • Patience and empathy when interacting with service users.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including waking nights, and adapt to changing circumstances.
