Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Commercial Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for increasing overall sales of Commercial and Cooling solutions, expanding the current project pipeline, and establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Increasing overall sales of Commercial and Cooling solutions (volume, value, and margin in line with agreed targets)
  • Expand the current project pipeline by establishing clear growth of Heating and Cooling solutions
  • Establish strong relationship with key stakeholders
  • Specify products to M+E consultants
  • Establish strong relationships with BMS and M+E contractors and specialists HVAC merchants/wholesalers
  • Perform product selection and dimensioning for customers, if requested technical product and application support key stakeholders
  • Deliver product and application trainings (incl. CPD, seminars and training)
  • Work with other divisions of Danfoss, sharing knowledge and sales leads

Background & Skills

The successful candidate would preferably have some knowledge of Residential, Commercial and Cooling and have a proven level of experience in delivering solutions. You will have gained valuable experience working together with customers and other stakeholders in all levels of services including sales and technical applications.

Your motivations should be driving the right activities to achieve strong results, sharing success within a team environment, and encouraging sector growth across a host of different platforms, you are open-minded and innovative in developing and securing business opportunities and have a good understanding of Growth mindset and leadership.

Required Skills

  • Ideal experience or good comprehension of Residential, Commercial and Cooling applications
  • Good understanding of mechanical heating and cooling systems
  • Ability to understand perspectives and to be able to successfully influence and negotiate
  • Experience of selling solutions into Developers, Main contractors, Local authority and Housing Associations would be beneficial
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to communicate to different audiences in a clear and accessible way
  • Strong interpersonal skills, to work and build relationships with a wide range of people and organisations and be able to communicate and influence at all stakeholder levels
  • Display a collaborative attitude for the benefit of the wider system including holding meetings with key stakeholders from other organisations
  • Good organisation skills, to track priorities, work to deadlines and manage projects
  • An existing knowledge of account and or key account management
  • A flexible attitude towards change and adaptability in working processes
  • A proven ability to show passion, desire and tenacity within the role
  • An existing knowledge of CRM systems
