Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and strategic individual to manage risk for our LME and other exchanges product set within our group risk appetite and defined risk limits. The successful candidate will have a proactive mindset, analytical skills, and comprehensive knowledge of the financial services markets and relevant regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to LME and other exchanges product trading capability to support liquidity for clients
- Manage Marex Spectron market risk for LME and other exchanges product set within group risk appetite and defined risk limits while generating positive returns
- Collaborate with sales/broking functions to originate hedging solutions and structured transactions with a cross-product selling mindset
- Collaborate with central operations functions to support the trading role, including operations and technology
- Strategize to increase P&L, requiring ongoing analysis of markets and products
- Ensure compliance with the company's regulatory requirements under the FCA
- Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role, ensuring all regulatory or company-determined parameters are complied with
- Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct, reflecting Company Values
- At all times, comply with the FCA's Code of Conduct
- Liaise with clients in APAC, mainly China, including banks, hedge funds, market makers, fund managers, institutionals, trading houses, and other trading boutiques
- Fluent in Mandarin
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
