Nursery Room Leader Position

About the Room Leader position
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Room Leader at MiChild Group's Oberlin Nursery. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for implementing the nursery curriculum, providing high standards of quality, and promoting partnership with parents and carers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the nursery curriculum and provide high-quality experiences for children
- Lead planning and maintain accurate and effective children's records
- Promote and facilitate partnership with parents and carers
- Support the development of good practice with regard to special needs and inclusion
- Work with the Childcare and Education team to continuously improve the quality of childcare and education
- Ensure children's safety and staff understanding of Safeguarding Procedures
- Ensure nutritional needs of children are met and Food Safety Regulations are complied with
- Comply with relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989 and 2004, and company policies and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with current developments in childcare and education policy and practice
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualified
- Detailed understanding of Ofsted requirements
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families
- Extensive knowledge of Safeguarding
- Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies
- Managing and maintaining administration requirements
