Nursery Room Leader Position

The MIChild Group is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Room Leader in our Oberlin Nursery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing the nursery curriculum and providing high standards of quality within the nursery.
Key Responsibilities:- Curriculum Implementation: Work closely with the Childcare and Education team to develop and implement the nursery curriculum, ensuring that it meets the needs of our children.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality within the nursery, including the environment, resources, and experiences offered to children.
- Leadership and Planning: Lead planning and maintain accurate and effective children's records, ensuring that all necessary information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Parent Partnership: Promote and facilitate partnership with parents/carers and other family members, ensuring that they are informed and involved in their child's education.
- Inclusion and Safeguarding: Support the development of good practice with regard to special needs and inclusion, ensuring that all children feel welcome and valued.
- Continuous Improvement: Work with the Childcare and Education team to continuously improve the quality of childcare and education, staying up-to-date with current developments in policy and practice.
- Safeguarding and Welfare: Ensure that children are kept safe and that staff understand and follow Safeguarding Procedures, ensuring that the nutritional needs of the children are met and that Food Safety Regulations are complied with.
- Qualifications: Must be Level 3 qualified and have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted.
- Experience: Have excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families, as well as extensive knowledge of Safeguarding and experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies.
- Administration: Be able to manage and maintain administration requirements, including accurate and effective children's records.
