Room Leader - Nursery

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Room Leader to join our team at MIChild Group's Oberlin Nursery. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for implementing the nursery curriculum and providing high standards of quality within the nursery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the nursery curriculum and ensure high standards of quality within the nursery.
  • Lead planning and maintain accurate and effective children's records.
  • Support the development of good practice with regard to special needs and inclusion.
  • Work with the Childcare and Education team to continuously improve the quality of childcare and education.
  • Ensure children are kept safe and that staff understand and follow Safeguarding Procedures.
  • Ensure the nutritional needs of children are met and that Food Safety Regulations are complied with.
  • Comply with all relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989 and 2004, and company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualified
  • Detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families
  • Extensive knowledge of Safeguarding
  • Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies
