Nursery Room Leader Position

The MIChild Group is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Room Leader in our Oberlin Nursery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing the nursery curriculum and providing high standards of quality within the nursery.
Key Responsibilities:- Curriculum Implementation: Work as a Room Leader and implement the nursery curriculum to ensure high-quality education and care for children.
- Quality Standards: Provide high standards of quality within the nursery, including the environment, resources, and experiences offered to children.
- Planning and Record-Keeping: Lead planning and maintain accurate and effective children's records to ensure seamless communication with parents and carers.
- Parent Partnership: Promote and facilitate partnership with parents/carers and other family members to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
- Inclusion and Safeguarding: Support the development of good practice with regard to special needs and inclusion, and ensure that children are kept safe and that staff understand and follow Safeguarding Procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Work with the Childcare and Education team to continuously improve the quality of childcare and education.
- Qualifications: Must be Level 3 qualified.
- Knowledge and Experience: Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted, excellent knowledge of the EYFS, and experience of working with children and families.
- Safeguarding: Extensive knowledge of Safeguarding and experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies.
- Administration: Managing and maintaining administration requirements.
