Job Title: Supporting Children's Education Specialist

About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to work with a Year 2 child in need of support until the end of the academic year. The ideal candidate will be qualified, experienced and knowledgeable in working with children with challenging behavior. They should also have experience with trauma, or have completed CPD around trauma, or be PACE-trained. This role requires calmness under pressure and proficiency in de-escalation techniques. The successful candidate will be able to adopt an emotion coaching approach to support the child's emotional needs.

Key Responsibilities
* Work one-on-one with the child, providing individualized support and guidance
* Develop and implement strategies to promote the child's social, emotional and academic development
* Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure the child receives comprehensive support
* Maintain accurate records of progress and achievements

What We're Looking For
* Qualified at least Level 2 trained
* Experienced in working with children with challenging behavior
* Knowledgeable about trauma and de-escalation techniques
* Calm and composed under pressure
* Empathetic and able to adopt an emotion coaching approach

Salary
The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
