Job Description:

This SEN Teaching Assistant position is an excellent opportunity to support children with additional needs in a school setting. As a key member of the education team, you will work closely with teachers to provide individualized support to students.

  • Support pupils within the classroom, small groups, and 1:1.
  • Utilize positive reinforcement techniques and behaviour-based instruction to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Follow children's specialised support plans to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with teachers to deliver lessons and support student progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant qualifications (Level 2 or 3 in childhood studies or TA course).
  • Experience working with Special Educational Needs in a school setting.
  • Additional SEN Training certificates (such as MAPA, Makaton, Team Teach).
  • A genuine passion for helping children with additional needs.
