About the Child

The child we are seeking to support is a Year 2 student who requires one-on-one assistance due to their special educational needs. They require someone who can provide emotional support, help with homework, and engage in fun activities.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Work closely with the class teacher to develop and implement a personalized learning plan.">
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to the child, helping them to build confidence and self-esteem.">
  • Assist with homework and other tasks as needed.">
  • Engage in fun activities with the child, such as reading, arts and crafts, and outdoor games.">

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess:

  • ">
  • A minimum Level 2 qualification in teaching or a related field.">
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with challenging behavior.">
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and de-escalation techniques.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is £22,000 - £27,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

This is a part-time opportunity, requiring 18 hours of work per week. We offer a competitive benefits package, including paid training and professional development opportunities.
