Support Children with Additional Needs

We are seeking a dedicated Educational Support Specialist to work in SEN schools across Swadlincote and surrounding areas.

In this rewarding career opportunity, you will provide support to children with Autism, Learning Difficulties, Challenging Behaviour, Dyslexia, ADHD, SEMH, and more.

  • You will assist pupils in classrooms, small groups, and 1:1 settings.
  • Use positive reinforcement techniques and behaviour-based instruction to promote learning.
  • Follow individual support plans to help children achieve their full potential.
  • Support teachers with marking and delivering lessons.
Requirements
  • You must have relevant qualifications (Level 2 or 3 in childhood studies or TA course).
  • Experience working in SEN Schools is essential.
  • SEN Training certificates (such as MAPA, Makaton, Team Teach) are desirable.
  • A genuine interest in supporting children with extra needs is required.
