Support Specialist
A Support Specialist role has become available at Real Life Options in Swadlincote. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs.
As a Support Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting individuals in their own homes to live as independently as possible. This involves following daily planners, helping with financial expenditure, domestic support, and administration of medication. You may also be required to provide personal care and meal planning/preparation, as well as maintaining important relationships and supporting individuals to find new friendships.
A rewarding aspect of this role is encouraging participation in activities in the local community to enhance social inclusion. Seeking new opportunities for the growth and development of the people we support could include volunteering roles and further education access.
Working on a rota, you will be required to work weekends, evenings, bank holidays, and nights with planned time off. We have full-time and part-time positions available.
An Enhanced DBS is required for this role.
