Our SEMH School in Gainsborough is seeking an Inclusive Education Assistant to join our dedicated team. As an Inclusive Education Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students who require emotional nurture and develop their academic and personal potential.

About the Job:
  • You will implement work programmes for individuals and groups outside the conventional classroom environment, providing essential support to students requiring emotional nurture.
  • Collaborate with our experienced team to develop strategies for supporting students with SEMH needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead activities that promote students' physical, emotional, and educational development in a safe and structured environment.
  • Build positive relationships with students, establishing trust and setting high expectations.
  • Plan and deliver targeted SEMH interventions, promoting self-esteem and personal achievement.
  • Set targets for students with identified SEMH needs and participate in meetings to discuss student progress.
  • Employ a range of observation, assessment, and monitoring strategies to support SEMH students effectively.
