About the Role:
  • You will assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, working closely with teachers to support student learning.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting support strategies as necessary to ensure that each student is progressing towards their goals.

You will collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to each student's education and well-being, sharing insights and strategies to support their development.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in supporting students in an educational setting and excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported, encouraging positive interactions and a sense of community.
  • Use a variety of support methods to engage and motivate students, catering to different learning styles and preferences, and making learning enjoyable and effective.
  • Keep detailed records of each student's progress, including assessments, observations, and feedback, and communicate this information to parents, support staff, and other relevant parties to ensure transparency and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain strong, supportive relationships with all members of the school community, creating a positive and collaborative environment.
  • Show a deep commitment to helping students succeed, exhibiting patience and empathy in interactions.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education are desirable but not essential.
