We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our team in Lincoln. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers and other support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that cater to each student's unique needs.
- Delivering differentiated instruction to students with SEN, promoting their academic and personal growth.
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, making adjustments as necessary to optimize their learning experience.
- Providing guidance and support to teaching assistants and other staff working with SEN students.
- Communicating regularly with parents and carers about student progress and needs.
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- Previous experience working with SEN students or relevant training in special education.
- A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- A strong understanding of SEN best practices and legal requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
