Our MissionWe believe that every woman deserves the opportunity to gain financial independence and achieve her goals. Our mission is to deliver our core service and increase the number of women we can support into work.
The RoleWe are seeking a Shadow Trustee to support our Board of Trustees in raising the profile of our service and advocating for young people in the north east. As a Shadow Trustee, you will have the opportunity to gain experience and develop your skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Board of Trustees in raising the profile of our service and advocating for young people in the north east.
- Provide insights and suggestions to help shape the service and increase its appeal to younger clients.
- Build strong working relationships with the Board, staff, volunteers, and supporters.
- Use your interpersonal and communication skills to support the team and contribute to decision-making.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, able to communicate effectively, and willing to learn and develop their skills. You should be able to advise us from a young person's perspective and provide valuable insights to help shape our service.
