We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Newcastle United FC, a leading football club with a rich history of excellence on and off the pitch.
About the Role- Deliver prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of all injuries to the Women's First Team.
- Provide pitch-side and daily pre-training physiotherapist cover for Women's first team match days and training sessions.
- Work collaboratively as part of an integrated and progressive multi-disciplinary team to optimise player physical development, performance, and agility.
- Deliver assessment and diagnostic skills to ensure individualised relevant treatment plans are created for individual players.
- Provide 'on field' first aid treatment and post-match medical recovery.
- Complete and maintain good clinical records, sharing with other health professionals as required.
- BSc in Physiotherapy.
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Completed or working towards FA Level 5 Advanced Training in Musculoskeletal Injury Management (ATMMi F).
- Significant experience in front-line patient care as a 'hands-on' physiotherapist.
- Strong communication skills with a high level of empathy.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
