Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Dental Nurse to support our dental team in providing exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will have a strong background in dental nursing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
- Assist dental clinicians in delivering high-quality patient care, including preparing patients for treatment and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Monitor and record patient treatment, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care, including communicating with patients and colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines.
Requirements
- Good standard of education to GCSE level or equivalent.
- National Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3 or equivalent.
- Registered with the General Dental Council.
- Certificate for the examination in the care of the service user by the awarding body, the National Examination Board for Dental Nurses (NEBDN).
- Certificate in Dental Radiography.
- NEBDN Oral Health Certificate in Oral Health Education (or equivalent) OR Certificate in Extended duties Dental Nursing.
