About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Nurse to join our team at Primary Care Careers. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and receive service users into the dental service, providing a warm and welcoming environment.
- Reassure service users and explain dental procedures, taking into account any communication difficulties.
- Monitor, support, and reassure service users through relevant behavioral techniques.
- Record treatment, including baseline charting, clinical treatments, and periodontal charting, as instructed by the dental operator.
- Undertake reception duties, including greeting service users, answering the telephone, making appointments, and explaining service user charges.
- Liaise with the dental team, senior leaders, and wider colleagues to maintain the effective running of the dental service.
- Anticipate the operator's requirements across a broad range of clinical procedures, practicing four-handed dentistry to improve speed, efficiency, and comfort for the service user.
- Assist the operator in organizing the day's activities and monitoring the day list and appointment diary.
