As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting a Year 6 pupil with ASD and ADHD, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Your main responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant will be:

  • Supporting students' behavior and well-being in the classroom
  • Facilitating understanding of teacher instructions and supporting academic achievement
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop tailored plans for individual pupils
  • Monitoring and recording pupil progress
