Job Summary

The Technical Sales Estimator will play a crucial role in the success of WEC Group Ltd, utilizing their engineering and fabrication background to provide accurate estimates and exceptional customer service. This position requires a strong understanding of complex engineering drawings and the ability to negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best possible prices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production of technical quotations for customers in a clear and detailed manner
  • Providing technical support and assistance to colleagues
  • Negotiating deadlines for quotation submissions
  • Building relationships with customers to understand their requirements
  • Negotiating prices with suppliers
  • Communicating with customers to gain feedback on quotations
  • Recording sales information on our system
  • Achieving relevant targets and KPIs

Requirements

  • Engineering and fabrication background
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Sales Estimator
  • Ability to read and work with complex engineering drawings
  • Good computer literacy and numeracy skills
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Organizational, accurate, and detail-oriented
  • Excellent team working and communication skills
