About the Role

Ventry Care Homes is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team at our care home in Golders Green. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by planning and delivering a varied activities program that promotes independence, choice, and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and participate in key events throughout the year, including seasonal celebrations, parties, and charity events.
  • Plan and deliver a range of activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents, both within and outside the care home.
  • Motivate and inspire our residents by getting to know them as individuals, their interests, and their life stories.
  • Support resident and relative home meetings and participation forums.
  • Develop a resident newsletter at least every three months.
  • Cultivate feedback from residents, their families, and the staff team to ensure that the activities offered are relevant and meet the residents' needs and choices.
