About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our team in Stratford. This role involves developing individualized educational programs for students with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), severe learning disabilities, sensory impairments, and medical conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach students with complex communication needs using adapted curriculum materials and resources
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and specialists to provide a comprehensive support network
  • Contribute to the development of the school's SEND policy and procedures

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in SEN
  • Experience working with students with severe or profound learning difficulties (preferable)
  • Knowledge of Makaton, PECS, and other communication systems
