Special Education Needs Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Schoolsmutualservices. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with special educational needs in Key Stage 1 and 2.
About the Role: This is a part-time position, requiring approximately £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will possess a recognised UK teaching qualification or equivalent, have experience working with children, and be able to commute to Durham. A current DBS Certificate or willingness to undertake an application is also required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist SEN students in daily activities and learning tasks.
- Support teacher in implementing individual education plans.
- Possess a recognised UK teaching qualification or Level 2 or Level 3 equivalent.
- Experience working with children.
- Ability to commute to Durham.
- Current DBS Certificate or willing to undertake an application.
