Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant - South Ockendon, Essex

Are you a graduate seeking an opportunity to challenge yourself, whilst making a difference to the lives of students with additional needs?

A modern, inclusive Primary School located in South Ockendon, Essex is looking for a dedicated Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant to join their friendly staff team, as soon as possible. This is a long-term role until at least July 2025.

As a Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant, you will be working alongside children with a range of SEN, including Autism/ASD, ADHD, children with SEMH and behavioural difficulties. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and other specialists who will offer their expert advice and guidance along the way. The school is extremely passionate about every child's learning experience being exciting and accessible for all

** £83.33-£100 per day

Must haves:

Must have a degree/ certificate in a related field
Good understanding of Special Education Needs is required
Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEN
Genuinely passionate about supporting children with SENThis is a large primary school with excellent facilities and supportive staff and welcoming SLT. It has a strong pastoral support system in place to offer the most effective support to students.
