Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civils Engineer to oversee site works, plan, and coordinate construction activities for a large highways scheme in Bedfordshire.

About the Role

  • Liaise with project managers and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of site works.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality construction services.
  • Plan and coordinate construction activities to meet project deadlines and budgets.
  • Monitor and control costs to ensure financial efficiency and value for money.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the highways sector.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.

Compensation Package

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 per annum, with opportunities for growth and development within the company.
