Job Title: Highway Project Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Highway Project Coordinator to join our team at Aldwych Consulting Ltd. This is a long-term freelance opportunity offering interesting and challenging work for the next year.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Civil or Engineering (or equivalent) and previous experience working on highways. They will also possess a UK driving license, CSCS, and SMSTS.

Job Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the planning and coordination of site works, ensuring they are constructed in accordance with design and contract scopes. You will oversee a team of site engineers while producing relevant documentation associated with works, such as WPP's, SWP's, TBS's, NCR's, etc.

This position requires strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, and demonstrate a commitment to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning and coordination of site works
  • Oversee a team of site engineers
  • Produce relevant documentation associated with works
  • Ensure compliance with design and contract scopes

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil or Engineering (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working on highways
- UK driving license
- CSCS
- SMSTS

Salary Estimate: £40-£60 per hour depending on experience.
