Environmental Enforcement Officer Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Enforcement Officer to join our team at APCOA. As an Environmental Enforcement Officer, you will play a vital role in enforcing local laws and regulations to protect the environment and public health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and enforce laws related to littering, fly tipping, and dog fouling
  • Issue Fixed Penalty Notices to offenders
  • Prepare and submit cases for trial and assist legal services in presenting cases to court
  • Record witness statements and conduct interviews under caution
  • Validate and verify personal details of offenders
  • Build good working relationships with key stakeholders and agencies

Requirements:

  • Experience in enforcement work or a related field
  • Knowledge of green services such as cleansing and waste collection
  • Ability to adapt and engage with different audiences and work as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
  • Full clean driving licence
