Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and enforce environmental laws and regulations within designated areas.
  • Investigate reports of environmental breaches, such as littering, fly tipping, and dog fouling.
  • Issue Fixed Penalty Notices to offenders, as necessary.
  • Prepare and submit cases for trial, working closely with legal services to present evidence in court.
  • Record witness statements and conduct interviews under caution, as required.
  • Verify personal details of offenders and maintain accurate records.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Police and other agencies.
