Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Physiotherapist to join our Virtual Ward team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centred care to patients with chronic respiratory disease.

Main Duties

As a Respiratory Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive respiratory assessments of adults with chronic respiratory disease
  • Developing and implementing individualised care plans to improve patient outcomes
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families to promote self-management and independence

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least three years of post-registration clinical practice experience in respiratory physiotherapy
  • Experience working with patients with chronic respiratory disease
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer literacy
