Application Support Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled Application Support Analyst to join our Technology Solutions division in Borehamwood. As a key member of our IT team, you will provide 1st and 2nd line application support to internal teammates, managing support and change requests through the creation, updating, and resolution of tickets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line application support for internal teammates, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Support and maintain existing software functionality, identifying, analyzing, and correcting defects within established service level agreements.
  • Develop software in accordance with published standards and guidelines, including adherence to code standards and user interface design guidelines.
  • Liaise with software vendor support services to ensure incidents are resolved within agreed Service Levels, escalating when required.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar Application Service Desk or support role.
  • Proficiency in providing 1st and 2nd line software support.
  • Knowledge of software development practices, including coding standards and user interface design.
  • Solid understanding of SQL or demonstrable experience of working with solutions in SQL.
  • Experience liaising with software vendor support services.
