Meeting & Events Operations Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Meeting & Events Operations Supervisor to join our team at Leonardo Royal Hotel Southampton Grand Harbour. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of meetings and events, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our hotel.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the activities of the Meeting & Events Operations team, ensuring they are aware of their responsibilities and performing duties to a high standard.
- Be familiar with the daily business, restaurant, and conference bookings to prepare the team, department, and be ready for action.
- Serve food and drinks and provide excellent customer service, being a role model to the team and demonstrating great hospitality.
- Have a visible presence within the hotel to ensure that all customer requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively, and to keep all areas clean and tidy at all times.
- Deal with guest complaints in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
- Train and motivate team members.
- Ensure all cash, charge, float, and till procedures are carried out correctly.
