Job Overview

GirlingJones is seeking a highly skilled Contract and Programme Manager to join their team in the Somerset and Dorset region.

The successful candidate will oversee a portfolio of projects with values between £250,000 and £1 million, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.

About the Role
  • This is a key position that requires experience in main contracting or facilities management, with a strong understanding of construction processes and regulations.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing contracts with concurrent values of £250,000 to £1 million, working closely with project dedicated QSs and site managers.
  • Responsibilities will include preparing construction programmes and phase plans, producing progress reports, and representing the company at monthly project meetings.
Requirements
  • A minimum of NVQ level 6 and relevant certifications such as SMSTS, First Aid, and H&S training.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Apps and Microsoft Project.
  • A car driver's license and comfort with daily travel to sites in Somerset and Dorset.
What We Offer

A competitive salary of approximately £40,000 to £55,000 per annum, plus a car allowance.
