About the Role
The Pastoral Teaching Assistant - Student Mentor role at EdEx is a perfect opportunity for graduates in psychology, sociology, or criminology to gain valuable experience in behaviourism.
Based in Lambeth, London, this full-time position involves supporting students with various needs, working alongside psychological and behavioural professionals, and mentoring children to support their development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students with SEN/SEMH needs
- Work closely with professionals to provide care and make decisions on student support
- Mentor students based on your university experience
- Shadow professionals to learn their craft
Requirements
- 1st Class/2:1 in a Social Sciences Degree
- Strong academic record
- Experience working with children/young people
- Desirable: experience with additional needs
- Excellent communication skills
- Friendly and bubbly personality
Benefits
- £105-115 per day
- Monday-Friday, 08:30-15:30 working hours
- No supply teaching
