About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a SEN school in Lewes. As a Support Staff Member for SEN Students, you will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of our students with SEMH, and in contributing to the creation of a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities: As a Support Staff Member for SEN Students, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to students, assisting with lesson planning and delivery, and helping to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You will also be responsible for contributing to the development of our students' social, emotional, and behavioural skills, and for promoting their overall well-being and happiness. In addition, you will work closely with our teaching staff to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting our students' learning and development.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a good understanding of the needs and challenges faced by students with SEMH, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team, think creatively, and adapt to changing circumstances. A relevant qualification in education or a related field would be an advantage, but is not essential. What is most important is your ability to make a positive difference in the lives of our students and staff.
