Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Assistant - SEN School to join our team at Randstad Education. As a Support Assistant, you will provide essential support to students with SEMH in a SEN school setting. This role requires a high level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and understanding to create a safe and inclusive learning environment for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to students with SEMH in a SEN school setting
- Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery
- Engage in activities that promote social, emotional, and behavioral development
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders
Requirements:
- A relevant qualification in special education or a related field (e.g., teaching assistant, educational support worker)
- Experience working with students with SEMH in a SEN school setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
