**Job Description:**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming and inclusive primary school in Seaford, East Sussex. This is a full-time position supporting Key Stage 2 (KS2) students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other support staff to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for KS2 pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and other learning needs.
  • Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and tailor support to meet specific student needs.
  • Use creative strategies and resources to engage and motivate pupils.
  • Foster independence, resilience, and confidence in pupils through personalized support.

About the Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a primary school setting.
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
  • Knowledge of KS2 curriculum and strategies to support SEN pupils.
