SEN Teaching and Learning Specialist

We are looking for a professional SEN teaching assistant to provide vital support to our Key Stage 2 students in Seaford, East Sussex.
This role involves working collaboratively with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other support staff to create personalized plans for students, focusing on their unique needs and abilities.
- Assist in developing and implementing IEPs tailored to each student's requirements.
- Support teachers in creating engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Encourage students to take ownership of their learning, building confidence and resilience.
The successful applicant will possess experience working with SEN students in a primary school context, displaying empathy and patience when interacting with students. Familiarity with the KS2 curriculum and evidence-based strategies for SEN support is necessary for this role.
Annual Salary:£22,000 - £25,000
Work Benefits: Paid holidays as per statutory regulations. Potential opportunity for a permanent position following the completion of the initial contract.
