Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN teaching assistant to support Key Stage 2 pupils with diverse needs in our welcoming primary school in Seaford, East Sussex.

This full-time position involves providing individualized and small group support to students, including those with autism, ADHD, and other learning requirements.

  • Work closely with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other support staff to develop personalized plans for students.
  • Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt support strategies to meet specific student needs.
  • Foster independence, resilience, and confidence in pupils through tailored support.
About the Role:

The successful candidate will have experience working with children with SEN in a primary school setting, demonstrating a calm, patient, and empathetic approach. Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and strategies to support SEN pupils is also essential.

Estimated Salary:£22,000 - £25,000 per annum

Benefits: Statutory holiday pay. This temporary position may become permanent at a later date.
