Role Overview:
Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Classroom Support Professional to provide support to various schools across Lewes. This role offers flexibility in working on short or long-term bookings, allowing you to work in classrooms, with small groups, or providing 1:1 support to pupils as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
  • Work with small groups of students to enhance their learning and understanding.
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with specific learning needs, including SEN.
  • Maintain a positive learning environment and assist in managing classroom behavior.
  • Adapt quickly to different school environments and work effectively with various teams.
  • Assist in preparing and organizing learning materials and classroom resources.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children, preferably within an educational setting.
  • A flexible approach to working in different schools and with varying age groups.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
  • A patient, caring, and supportive attitude towards working with children.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous but not essential.
