We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team in Haringey. As a Staff Nurse in our 0-19 Children & Young People's service, you will be part of a dynamic and integrated team that delivers a local needs-led service to support the health and wellbeing of children and their families.
Main responsibilities
As a Staff Nurse, you will work closely with health visitors to deliver the Healthy Child Programme and Whittington Health Trust (Haringey) Health Visiting service specification. You will also be responsible for working across the 0-19 service to improve health and life outcomes for children and families within a defined community through delivering packages of care/support following assessment by the Health Visitor.
Person specification
We are looking for a Registered Nurse who is educated to degree level or equivalent, with a strong understanding of safeguarding children and a commitment to working as part of a multidisciplinary team. Post-registration experience working with children and in the community is desirable, as is knowledge of services provided by other agencies and an interest in public health issues.
