About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Headteacher to join our team at Teaching Vacancies. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our high standards of excellence and championing the needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to drive school improvement and academic excellence
  • Develop and implement curriculum strategies to enhance student learning and achievement
  • Lead and manage teams to achieve high standards of teaching and learning
  • Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures
  • Act as a role model and mentor to staff and students

Requirements

  • Proven track record of significant impact in school improvement and academic excellence
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with staff, students, and parents
  • Passion for working with young people and a commitment to their education and well-being
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture
