About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Vascular Surgeon to join our team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

As a Consultant Vascular Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Providing emergency and elective vascular services for Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, and surrounding districts
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with vascular conditions
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Participating in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
  • Supervising and mentoring junior doctors and medical students

Requirements

  • Full and Specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Appropriate higher surgical qualification in Vascular Surgery (e.g., FRCS, FEBVS)
  • Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or eligible for registration within six months of interview
