Vascular Surgeon Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Vascular Surgeon to join our team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality vascular services to patients in Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, and surrounding districts.
Main DutiesThe Sheffield Vascular Service provides elective and emergency vascular services, and the successful candidate will be expected to work as an independent practitioner in the specialty. The current consultant working arrangement is a 14-week rolling rota staffed by 7 people with fixed commitments.

Requirements- Full and Specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) or eligibility for registration within six months of interview.
- Appropriate higher surgical qualification in Vascular Surgery (e.g., FRCS, FEBVS).
- Clinical training and experience in vascular surgery equivalent to that required for UK CCST.
- Ability to work as an independent practitioner in the specialty covered by the post.
