About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Vascular Surgeon to join our team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality vascular services to patients in Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, and surrounding districts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing elective and emergency vascular services
  • Working as an independent practitioner in the specialty of vascular surgery
  • Participating in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives
  • Contributing to the development of vascular services in the trust

Requirements

  • Full and Specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Appropriate higher surgical qualification in Vascular Surgery
  • Experience in vascular surgery equivalent to that required for UK CCST
  • Ability to work as an independent practitioner in the specialty of vascular surgery
