About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to lead our multi-disciplinary team and oversee the management of patients with complex needs. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will have the autonomy to make decisions that will help improve patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team and oversee the management of patients with often complex needs.
  • Promote innovation and improvement of services, with scope to develop your specialist interests and grow your remit and responsibilities.
  • Have an office and the support of an associate specialist as ward doctor and a full MDT including Clinical Administrators and Personal Assistants dedicated to your wards and service.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Applicants must have MRCPsych or equivalent and hold a CESR or CCT in Forensic Psychiatry, Learning Disability Psychiatry or General Adult Psychiatry.
